The Spiritual Founder of Lindsborg ~
Accounts given by Dr. Emory K. Lindquist and a condensed book by Alf Brorson
Most probably the most accurate information on Rev. Dr. Olof Olsson would first come from Pioneer Swedish American Culture in Central Kansas by Ruth Billdt the 11965 transalted book of her father's,Dr. Alfred Bergin's 1919 Swedish book-----
In it is the section, titled "The Olsson Period" 1869-1879, with the two subheadings "The Arrival of the People from Varmland to Lindsborg and the Organization of the Bethany Congreation" and "Dr. Olof Olsson's Childood, outh, Student Days, and Pastoral Work in Sweden." which was by a J. A. Nywall.
Additionally there is the second book
