Mrs. Jaderborg was a teacher at heart and these small books of small stories were created to teach the children and youth about their Lindsborg and Smoky Valley history -- this was her selfless gift to the community.
Her works, her anthology, should not be collecting dust.

Following the above work by these two ladies, Mrs. Billdt began to translate the Anna Olsson (the daughter of Lindsborg founder Pastor Olof Olsson) book while Mrs. Jaderborg was editing it. The book had been translated before. However, it was translated into a Swedish-American dialect in 1927 under the title "I'm Scairt" by the Augustana Book Concern, Rock Island, Illinois. Mrs. Billdt desired to have it translated into pure English, but unfortunately, she passed away before the translation was completed. Mrs. Jaderborg invited a Mrs. Martha Winblad of Lindsborg to translate the book which she did gladly as her background as a Swedish 3-year-old child immigrating and living in Kansas was very similar to that of Anna's, so this made for a very productive and interesting period of work for these two ladies and of accomplishment with the publishing of the book in 1978, the year it was copyrighted by Elizabeth Jaderborg and Martha Winblad.
