It is with the greatest of appreciation to Mrs. Margaret Dahlquist Eddy's family to be given the opportunity to share some Bror Gustaf Grondal's work of sharing images of his photographs encompassing of life events of the people of the Kansas Smoky Valley most of which were Lutheran Swedish and Swedish American, who attended one of three churches: The Bethany Lutheran Church, The Salemsborg Lutheran Church, and the Bethany Lutheran Church, all of which were members of the dynamic 1860 founded American Swedish Lutheran Synod a dynamic synod which would exist no longer in 1962 when it merged with other independent American formed Lutheran synod formed from other ethnic backgrounds to form the Lutheran Church of America, LCA. In 1987, there was another equally significant merger that would form the new Evengelical Lutheran Church in America, ELCA, the operation of which contiues to this day of July 25, 2023.
