REWORKING THIS SOME
In Mrs. Eddy's acknowledgements, she thanks family members from the Seattle, Washington, who contributed greatly too the photographs used for the book as well as much of the text. The two main sources which the body of the text originated came from B.G.'s daughter Edith Gröndal Carlson, her personal recollection writings, and also from son Dr. Bror Leonard Gröndal (a Bethany College graduate) whose material on his father is contained at the University of Washington Libraries Special Collections, the information of which was gathered by his granddaughter Barbara Boyd. It was her sister Margaret Gröndal Delourme, the caretaker of the Gröndal family photographs, who made them available for the book.
She expressed great appreciation to four Lindsborg families "who gave generously of their large collections." They were Hilding and Esther Marie Jaderborg, Royer and Althea Barclay, Linn and Mary Peterson, and Lee and Susie Ruggels. Also her appreciation was expressed to professional Lindsborg photographers, Tom Jaderborg and Jim Turner, who provided the use of their glass negatives formerly owned by Bror Gustaf Gröndal. Finally, appreciation was expressed to the Bethany College librarians, Denise Carson and Lucy Walline, who located her grandfather's college-related photographs.
