"Through the Lens of B.G. Gröndal: Keeper of His Time"
~ Selections from Swede Bror Gustaf Gröndal's Photography from 1887 to 1945
It is with deep appreciation to The Family of Mrs. Margaret Dahlquist Eddy to be given the opportunity to share some photograph images of their great-grandfather Swede Bror Gustaf Gröndal's work, in SWEDES, that are found in Mrs. Margaret Dahlquist Eddy's book, the 2013, "Through the Lens of B.G. Gröndal: Keeper of His Time."
This will enable the descendants of those pioneer Swedes who Mr. Gröndal photographed, to continue to enjoy his work online as well as for the rest of the Smoky Valley community of today, to learn more about this fine Lindsborg photographer and the subjects he photographed, reflecting "the way they were," during his 58 year career from 1887 to 1945.
Mrs. Eddy dedicated this book to "Bethany College," the "Smoky Valley Community," and to the "Gröndal Descendants." Furthermore, she wrote it "in memory" of her dear grandparents "Bror Gustaf Gröndal" and "Sarah Margaret Noyd Gröndal."
Now, in memory and honoring Mrs. Margaret Dahlquist Eddy, author of Through the Lens of B.G. Gröndal: Keeper of His Time," here are images of some of these wonderful photographs, found within her book.
