Ms. Ann Japenga of Palm Springs, contacted me regarding the story she was writing on Lydia. She had already written a story about another artistic woman Lindsborg resident who was 15 years younger than Lydia (1873-1943) and had moved to the Palm Springs area as a young woman. Her name was Emma Christina Lillian (1888-1976). You can find her grave at the Elmwood Cemetary in Lindsborg.
Ms. Japenga wondered if Lydia knew Christina. I told her, "I did not think so." To learn more about this most interest woman, go HERE. To know more about Ms. Japenga, go to Ann Japenga.
