~ An account by Mr. Chris Abercrombie
In 2013, President of the Smoky Valley Historical Association, historian and writer, Chris Abercrombie wrote a history on the Swedish Folk Dancers of Lindsborg documenting that Mrs. Elizabeth Jaderborg was the founder of the "high school" Swedish Folk Dancers in 1964.
That information is found HERE, beginning at the fourth paragraph to the end of the article, "The Lindsborg Swedish Folk Dancers History." This written history by Mr. Abercrombie was to honor Mrs. Jaderborg and the founding of her "high school" Swedish Folk Dancers of Lindsborg on its 50th year, September 9, 2013.
-- They became known as the Lindsborg Swedish Folk Dancers, and due to their travels they became known as "Ambassadors"
as well --
