Scientist Emil O. Deere
- Deere's 1940 Presidential Address to the Kansas Academy of Science -
As a member of the Kansas Academy of Science (KAS), since 1905, Deere became a life member in 1925. He held various post in the KAS and was president from 1940 to 1941. During that term he gave the Presidential Address,"Crowding and Its Effect on Organisms," which can be read below:
