G. N. Malm's 1916 Christmas Greetings to His Lindsborg Friends
G. N. Malm was just so good for Lindsborg and Bethany College on so many levels! He loved this Swedish community with heart and soul as so clearly indicated by his Christmas card of 1916.
This Christmas greeting was received by Emil and Lydia from the G. N. Malm's after the year of their marriage in 1916.
In it he reproduced his drawing of the First Bethany Lutheran Church which was located near corner Coronodo Heights and Burma Road, today in a farmer's field notated by a black memorial staked there to remember and honor this "mother" church of the Smoky Valley people's pioneers.
