Their "I WAS THERE" Coin ~ Bethany College 21st Year Celebration,1902
Emil O. Deere, as a senior at Bethany, would have received this "gold coin" during a very special celebration put on by President Rev. Dr. Carl Aaron Swensson on Bethany College's 21st Anniversary. Great pains were taken for it to be inscribed with these words:
"DOMINI DIMINO"
("Of the Lord, For the Lord")
