Until the Pandemic, the ASA-GP has been a vital mainstay of providing cultural programs and events on a variety of themes.  Since early 2020 there have been no meetings, with the hope that once day they will resume.

​As a result of the beginning of the pandemic the me there have been no meetings since 2020. 
​​ It is hoped that one day the Association will resume their meetings.

On June 11, 2013, the ASA-GP created its FACEBOOK website.  Here it is declared that the

ASA-GP is a Non-Profit Organization

ASA-GP promotes and strengthens cultural, educational, and intellectual relations between the US region and Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden

ASA-GP was an affiliate of the Swedish Council of America
